An investigator-initiated study is a study proposed by a clinician or researcher and supported by DeRoyal. All proposals are reviewed and evaluated according to scientific merit and alignment with research objectives of DeRoyal. Research proposal objectives should aim to improve care for patients or reduce costs associated with delivering healthcare. Our support may consist of products, funds, and/or manuscript or poster preparation for publication of research.
Who Can Submit: All healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, etc.) and scientists with research interests in wound care, patient protection, supply chain management, and orthopedic bracing are welcome to submit proposed studies or research ideas for consideration.
Submission Requirements: Please include a research proposal that details clinical significance or why the proposed research is important, the study design and approach (e.g. quality improvement initiative, RCT, case series, etc.), proposed timeline, and expected outcomes; a study protocol with status of ethics approval; and the proposed budget.
